Secos are a Psilocybe species in the section Cyanescens that are native to New Zealand.
It’s a temperate woodlovermostly mostly found in wood chip mulche gardens.
Odd fact about this cool mushroom is that it’s genetically identical to Psilocybe Weraroa which is a pouch mushroom when secos are a partly open mushrooms.
More studies needs to be done on this remarkable discovery in the future, also so it can get a proper scientific name.
